MERCEDES BENZ announced a problem with the Vito and Viano affecting a total of 2,927 vehicles.
In certain arduous operating conditions it is possible that the air conditioning fan relay could overload and in the worst case could catch fire. Vehicles built from 1/1/2007 to 31/12/2010 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the air conditioning fan relay with a modified component.
