Emergency exit door lock operating bar concern |
OPTARE announced a problem with the Excel and Solo affecting a total of 950 vehicles.
Emergency exit door lock operating bar could become distorted and inoperative in exceptional circumstances, such as in a collision or as a result of vandalism. Vehicles built from 01/01/1997 to 02/28/2001 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles and fit an additional support bracket to the lock operating bar.
