DAF FTPCF85, FTPXF95 & FTPXF105 Recall |
Wheel bearings fitted to the second axle may fail |
DAF announced a problem with the FTPCF85, FTPXF95 & FTPXF105 affecting a total of 463 vehicles.
It has been identified that a number of repairs have been carried out on the hub seals where the bearings have not been replaced. This may lead to bearing failure. Vehicles built from 9/1/2003 to 7/31/2009 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles to replace the full set of wheel bearings and seals to prevent a possible bearing failure.
