DAIHATSU HIJET (petrol engine) Recall

Corrosion of fuel tank may lead to fuel leak

DAIHATSU announced a problem with the HIJET (petrol engine) affecting a total of 2,879 vehicles.

Corrosion of the top of the fuel tank may result in a fuel leak.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Fit a new fuel tank.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest DAIHATSU dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
