JAGUAR announced a problem with the XJ8 (WITH MOONROOF) affecting a total of 100 vehicles.
The moonroofs glass may shatter due to the reinforcement bars being incorrectly assembled. Vehicles built from 07/16/2005 to 12/22/2005 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the moonroof with a quality assured replacement.
