AUDI A6 - Avant with power tailgate & Q7 with power tailgate recall Sep 2007

AUDI announced a problem with the A6 - Avant with power tailgate & Q7 with power tailgate affecting a total of 8,468 vehicles.

It has been identified that the power operated tailgate may close abruptly and unexpectedly following opening using the power function. Vehicles built from 6/1/2004 to 7/31/2007 are at risk.

Recalled vehicle will have the tailgate motors replaced.
