Electronic brake control module may allow a momentary delay in brake application. |
JEEP announced a problem with the GRAND CHEROKEE, COMMANDER, WRANGLER, NITRO. affecting a total of 9,427 vehicles.
It has been established that, the software programmed into the electronic brake control module (EBC) may permit a momentary delay in brake application when coasting uphill during certain conditions. Vehicles built from 1/1/2006 to 26/10/2007 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the EBC reprogrammed.
