RENAULT TRUCKS UK LTD Magnum/Premium/Midlum Recall
Brake chamber may become detached from mounting bracket
RENAULT TRUCKS UK LTD announced a problem with the Magnum/Premium/Midlum affecting a total of 408 vehicles.
The studs securing the front and rear brake chambers may have received the incorrect heat treatment. As a consequence a brake chamber could become detached from it's mounting bracket. Vehicles built from 01/13/2003 to 04/24/2003 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Check and replace the front and rear brake chambers where found necessary.
