RENAULT TRAFIC Recall

Inadequate airbag triggering in the event of a side impact

RENAULT TRAFIC recall Apr 2008

RENAULT announced a problem with the TRAFIC affecting a total of 84 vehicles.

It has been identified that, there has been a left to right inversion of the side impact sensor wiring which in certain cases, may result in inadequate deployment of the airbags in the event of a side impact.

Recalled vehicles will have the airbag ECU replaced.
