RENAULT announced a problem with the Modus affecting a total of 9,514 vehicles.
A risk exists that the steering column intermediate shaft has been incorrectly fitted. Vehicles built from 08/01/2004 to 04/05/2005 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the position of the mounting yolk of the intermediate shaft checked and modified as necessary.

find your nearest RENAULT dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
