MAN A66 BUS Recall

Steering arm bolts become loose

MAN announced a problem with the A66 BUS affecting a total of 78 vehicles.

New longer bolts were fitted during a recall where spacer plates were fitted between the steering arms and their mountings. It is thought that on some vehicles the bolts were not correctly torqued and therefore there is a possibility that they could become loose.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected so that the bolts can be inspected, if necessary replaced and correctly torqued.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest MAN dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
