IVECO Stralis Tractor AS/At/AD/440S43/45/48/50 Recall

Fifth wheel base may fracture

IVECO announced a problem with the Stralis Tractor AS/At/AD/440S43/45/48/50 affecting a total of 9 vehicles.

Under extreme conditions, the fifth wheel bed plate may flex and damage the fifth wheel base. Vehicles built from 7/1/2008 to 9/30/2008 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles, replace the fifth wheel and bed plate if manufactured by GF
