CITROEN announced a problem with the C8 affecting a total of 592 vehicles.
The lighting management system may incorrectly detect the position of the exterior lighting control switch. This may cause the exterior light to switch off without warning. Vehicles built from 7/1/2007 to 3/27/2008 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall all affected vehicles and install a new version of the exterior lighting management software to the vehicle.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest CITROEN dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
