NISSAN Note and Qashqai Recall

Fuel may leak from particulate filter
NISSAN Note and Qashqai recall Dec 2008NISSAN announced a problem with the Note and Qashqai affecting a total of 45 vehicles.

It has been identified that a connector in the diesel particulate filter fuel system may not be correctly attached. If this is ignored, fuel may leak from the connector during a particulate filter regeneration cycle. Vehicles built from 1/4/2008 to 10/28/2008 are at risk.

Recalled vehicles will have the connector checked and tightened as necessary.
