MERCEDES BENZ announced a problem with the Vito and Viano affecting a total of 362 vehicles.
It has been identified that the potential exists for a material defect to be present in the retaining clip for the outer cable of the left hand rear parking brake. Should the retaining clip fail, the outer cable would become detached, resulting in holding effect of the parking brake being lost.
Recalled vehicles will have the left hand rear parking brake cable including the clips replaced.
