FIAT announced a problem with the SCUDO affecting a total of 103 vehicles.
The lower engine stabiliser rod may crack or break. This could result in detachment of the off side drive shaft on full lock. Vehicles built from 04/01/2003 to 04/30/2003 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Inspect the stabiliser rod welding and fit a new rod where found necessary.
