MERCEDES BENZ BUS announced a problem with the Citaro GN and N affecting a total of 184 vehicles.
There is a possibility of a fractured air pipe penetrating the wiring harness and/or an oil pipe fracturing with the possibility of causing a fire hazard Vehicles built from 03/01/2003 to 03/01/2004 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicles and re-route and clamp the subject air pipe, so that it is clear of the wiring harness and the replacement of the oil pipe.
