KIA announced a problem with the Magentis affecting a total of 385 vehicles.
The opposite side air bag may deploy in the event of a side impact due to the electrical connections being transposed. Vehicles built from 03/01/2001 to 05/31/2002 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Fit new air bag wiring harness to all affected vehicles.
