Windscreen wipers may fail

JEEP Cherokee recall Feb 2011JEEP announced a problem with the Cherokee affecting a total of 23 vehicles.

The windscreen wiper motor may fail without warning. This could result in a reduction of the driver's visibility under certain operating conditions and, ultimately, cause a collision. Vehicles built from 19/5/2008 to 28/6/2008 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall all affected vehicles for the replacement of the wiper motor.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest JEEP dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
