VW Crafter 5T Recall

Handbrake may not fully apply

VW announced a problem with the Crafter 5T affecting a total of 12 vehicles.

It has been identified that on some vehicles, the rear brake shoe adjustment bushes can, because of insufficient wall thickness, break when the handbrake is applied. Vehicles built from 6/1/2005 to 11/30/2006 are at risk.

Recalled vehicles will have the subject adjustment bushes replaced.
