CITROEN announced a problem with the Relay affecting a total of 1,800 vehicles.
The spare wheel winch may fail and not secure the spare wheel to the vehicle, so allowing it to detach from the vehicle. Vehicles built from 18/7/2006 to 18/10/2007 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall all affected vehicles and replace the spare wheel winch.
