IVECO announced a problem with the Daily affecting a total of 2,120 vehicles.
The hand brake release button can become detached from the ratchet control rod which prevents the pawl at the rear of the lever from engaging the ratchet. the hand brake must then be applied by the driver holding the lever in the engaged position.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Two solutions have been developed. a. re-fitment of using high strength loctite adhesive. b. Replacement of the button.

who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
