NISSAN NAVARA Recall

Rear wheel bearing may fail

NISSAN NAVARA recall Apr 2006NISSAN announced a problem with the NAVARA affecting a total of 5,812 vehicles.

A concern has been identified relating to the incorrect assembly of the rear axle. This may result in excessive wear of the wheel bearings, which will lead to noise occurring from the rear axle. If this is not rectified the bearing may ultimately fail, resulting in the assembly becoming detached from the axle. Vehicles built from 05/01/2005 to 12/31/2005 are at risk.

Recalled vehicles will be checked and fitted with new halfshafts as required.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

12810 to 67531
