Front airbag may not deploy as designed in a frontal impact
CITROEN announced a problem with the C4 affecting a total of 25,083 vehicles.
It has been identified that the front air bag ECU may not take full account of frontal impacts that are below the legal threshold for triggering deployment. Vehicles built from 11/19/2004 to 01/12/2006 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the air bag ECU re-programmed.
