CHRYSLER VOYAGER Recall

Seat belt may become inoperative

CHRYSLER VOYAGER recall Jan 2003CHRYSLER announced a problem with the VOYAGER affecting a total of 7,557 vehicles.

The "D" pillar sound barrier patches may loosen and drop onto the rear seat belt which may lead to the seat belt assembly becoming inoperative. Vehicles built from 01/01/1997 to 12/31/1999 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall affected vehicle and fit new version of foam pads to "D" pillar and inspect and replace any sticking or inoperative seat belts.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest CHRYSLER dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
