NISSAN announced a problem with the Micra affecting a total of 67 vehicles.
It has been identified that the driver's airbag on some K12 Micras, due to incorrect welding of the airbag module, may not deploy in the event of a frontal impact. Thus potentially reducing the protection afforded to the vehicle's occupants. Vehicles built from 9/17/2008 to 10/22/2008 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the subject airbag replaced.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest NISSAN dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
