JEEP WRANGLER Recall

Ignition switch may short circuit

JEEP WRANGLER recall Nov 2002JEEP announced a problem with the WRANGLER affecting a total of 265 vehicles.

The ignition switch may short circuit in the presence of water and impurities. This could cause a vehicle fire. Vehicles built from 01/01/2002 to 12/31/2002 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall vehicles and replace ignition switch.
