JAGUAR announced a problem with the XK and XF petrol only affecting a total of 1,365 vehicles.
The corrosion protection on certain power steering pipes may not be to specification. This could result in pin holes being formed which can leak power steering fluid. Should the power steering fluid contact hot surfaces there is a possibility that fire could occur. Vehicles built from 1/9/2009 to 31/3/2010 are at risk.
Recalled vehicles will have the affected power assisted steering fluid pipes replaced.
Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:
SAJAA07P8ALR59555 to SAJAC05H9AFR78765 SAJAC45P9ALB35314 to SAJWA4FB8ALB38302
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
