MASERATI QUATTROPORTE Recall

Rear door safety lock instructions in manual incorrect.

MASERATI announced a problem with the QUATTROPORTE affecting a total of 420 vehicles.

Due to a printing error in the Owner's Manual and Quick Reference Guide, the operation of the rear door child safety locks is incorrectly detailed. As a consequence, the driver may not operate the door child safety locks correctly.

Recalled vehicles will have the information pertaining to the operation of the rear door child safety locks updated.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest MASERATI dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
