SUZUKI Wagon R (SR410 and SR412) Recall

THE gearshift cable may break whilst in service
SUZUKI Wagon R (SR410 and SR412) recall Nov 2004SUZUKI announced a problem with the Wagon R (SR410 and SR412) affecting a total of 4,532 vehicles.

The manual transmission gearshift control cable may break due to a lack of maximum strength and durability. This will result in the inability of the driver to either select or de-select the gears. Vehicles built from 08/01/1998 to 08/01/1999 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall likely to be affected vehicles and replace the gearshift cable.

Vehicles with the following identification numbers are affected:

JSAEMA61S00200039 to JSAEMA61S00301513
