NISSAN announced a problem with the MAXIMA QX affecting a total of 42 vehicles.
The front suspension transverse link rear pivot pin may break if subjected to an impact, such as "kerbing". Failure of the pivot pin would adversely affect the stability and safe control of the vehicle. Vehicles built from 06/01/2001 to 01/31/2002 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Fit new left and right hand suspension transverse links.

who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
