KIA SEDONA Recall

Possibility of fire

KIA SEDONA recall Mar 2006KIA announced a problem with the SEDONA affecting a total of 2,347 vehicles.

The wiring to the driver's electric seat adjuster may chafe on the sharp edge of the seat base, which may result in an electrical short circuit. This can cause the wiring and fuse-box to overheat and a risk of fire.

Recalled vehicles will have the routing of the wiring checked and any sharp edges will be insulated.

If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should find your nearest KIA dealer who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
