VAUXHALL Vivaro Recall

Steering may fail

VAUXHALL announced a problem with the Vivaro affecting a total of 15 vehicles.

It has been identified that the welds to the left front suspension-strut turret many not be to specification. This could lead to detachment of the suspension-strut turret detachment and subsequent loss of control of the vehicle. Vehicles built from 7/26/2006 to 7/27/2006 are at risk.

The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall all affected vehicles and apply additional weld seams to the turret.

How to check your car's VIN number - vehicle identification number
