VW announced a problem with the T5 affecting a total of 152 vehicles.
It has been established that the mounting bolts on the bonnet catch may loosen. This may cause the lock to become loose and could result in the bonnet suddenly opening. Vehicles built from 11/2/2009 to 11/10/2009 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall all affected vehicles to have the bolts checked and tighten if required.
