HONDA announced a problem with the Jazz affecting a total of 1,648 vehicles.
The sidewall of the tyre may have been damaged during fitting to steel wheels. If the sidewall is weakened a bulge may be seen prior to the tyre deflating suddenly. If the tyre deflates suddenly, control of the vehicle may become difficult. Vehicles built from 9/30/2009 to 5/21/2010 are at risk.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to replace the four tyres on the standard steel road wheels.
If you think that your vehicle may be affected by this recall you should
find your nearest HONDA dealer
who will be able to confirm whether or not your car is safe and arrange its free repair if necessary.
