MERCEDES BENZ announced a problem with the Sprinter affecting a total of 72 vehicles.
The seat belt mounting bolts in the areas of the "B" pillar and seat base have been found not to specification. In the event of an accident, the restraint function of the seat belt may not be guaranteed.
The following remedial action is necessary to address this problem. Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary adjust the torque of the seat belt mounting bolts in question.
